Every 5 years we must complete a Community Health Assessment to identify our County's top three health priorities and Develop a plan to address those priorities.

We just completed this process and the top priorities are:

1.) Drugs/Alcohol; 2.) Mental Health;  3.) Cancers (Lung and Breast.

Work continues on our 2017 to 2022 Community Health Plan.

The community survey was completed in January 2017.  Data gathering and analysis was completed and presented to the  Community Health Committee on March 29th to review data and determine the top three health priorities.  WCHD management staff and collaborating entities will meet in late Spring to establish measurable goals,  outline specific action steps and determine the resources needed for full implementation.
