Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

 

is a supplemental nutrition program which offers services to pregnant women, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children up to age 5 who meet eligibility requirements.

 

WIC Provides:

 

- Nutrition education

- Nutrition counseling

- Breastfeeding support

- Nutritious Foods

- Referral to other services

- Monthly supplemental foods including, but not limited to:

 

4 Gallons of Milk

36 ounces of cereal

2 loaves of whole wheat bread

1 dozen eggs

2-64 ounces of juice

$6.00 fruit and vegetable voucher

18-ounce jar of peanut butter
